No shipping your shears away, no loaners, no lost chair time. We set up in your salon or barbershop and put a true factory edge back on every pair — while your day keeps moving.

  • Water-stone honing, by hand. Each blade is inspected, then honed and finished on Japanese water stones at the correct factory angle — never ground down on a harsh wheel.

  • Full service, every pair. Tension and alignment set, pivot cleaned and oiled, tips and ride checked, and a test cut before your shears go back in your hand.

  • All professional brands welcome. Cutting shears, thinners, texturizers, and left-handed shears — if you cut with it, we sharpen it, right there in your shop.

  • Back in your hand the same visit. Your shears never leave the building. Book a single visit or get on a regular route so your whole team stays sharp.

How do I book a sharpening visit?

Call or text (843) 331-5501, or send the booking form below with your salon name and city. We'll confirm your spot on the next route through your area.

Do my shears leave the salon?

No. Everything is done on site, in your salon or barbershop, while you work. Your shears are sharpened, tuned, test-cut, and handed straight back to you.

What does sharpening cost?

$35 per salon shear and $25 per pet grooming shear — flat, per shear, sharpened on site during your visit. Shear Luxury brand shears are the exception: their sharpening is free for life.

Which brands do you sharpen?

All professional brands — cutting shears, thinners, texturizers, swivel and left-handed models, plus pet grooming shears. The lifetime free sharpening applies to Shear Luxury brand shears; every other brand is sharpened at our standard rates — $35 per salon shear, $25 per pet grooming shear.

What do the prices include?

Salon shears are $600 and pet grooming shears are $300 — each in any size, and each with its own protective case and the same lifetime warranty and lifetime sharpening on our mobile routes for as long as you own it. The Shear + Thinner Package pairs any salon cutting shear with the 30-tooth thinner for $750, with a case for each shear. One flat price per line — size and finish never change it.

Do you offer left-handed shears?

Yes — every salon shear we sell is available in a true left-handed version at the same flat price: $600 for a single salon shear, and the cutting shear in the $750 Shear + Thinner Package can be left-handed too, with no upcharge. Just pick Left-Hand next to the size when you order. If you check out on Square, please also write “Left-hand” in the size/details field at checkout so we send the correct pair. Left-handed shears carry the same lifetime warranty, lifetime sharpening, and protective case as our right-handed shears.

How do I order shears?

How often should shears be sharpened?

For a full book, most stylists and barbers do best with a fresh edge every 3–6 months. If your shears are folding hair, pushing it, or your hand is working harder than it should, it's time.
